When a child has acute gastroenteritis or diarrhea due to antibiotics, Babybiane Imedia is designed to help meet their nutritional needs from birth. It’s a special product used for severe diarrhea linked to both antibiotics and gastroenteritis.
Each sachet of Babybiane Imedia contains 10 billion CFU of Lactobacillus rhamnosus LA 801. This strain, chosen by PiLeJe, is part of France’s National Microorganism Collection (CNCM). The European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) has rated this strain at this dosage as highly effective (“1, A”) for improving antibiotic-induced diarrhea in babies and managing acute gastroenteritis in infants when used with oral rehydration therapy.

Indications:
Babybiane Imedia is a Food for Special Medical Purposes in case of acute diarrhoea:
- Associated with gastroenteritis,
- Associated with the use of antibiotics.
Direction of use:
One sachet a day for 7 days (flavourless).
Dilute in a baby’s bottle or in a glass of 150 to 200 ml of cold water or milk or mix with food suitable for the child.
It should ideally be taken before a meal.
